– Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon –
The PHYSICIAN CEO™ program has reinvigorated my once passionate drive to deliver exceptional medical care in a constantly changing healthcare arena. There are many reasons to lose focus in the “rat race” of practicing medicine. Many of us in small or solo practices are bogged down in the day-to-day grind, dealing with employee issues, insurance companies, and office related details that we barely have time to glance at the business or financial side, much less analyze and execute plans for growth and global improvement.
As a solo plastic surgeon, mother of three young girls and wife of a busy neurosurgeon, I understand far to well the difficulties of taking time away from your family and practices. Plagued by the many frustrations of practicing insurance based medicine, I decided to take some time off from practice shortly after starting the PCEO program. This coincided with growing clarity in my future after just one PCEO session.
Making the time to attend this program was the best decision I ever made as it has changed my path and allowed me to achieve tremendous knowledge and value for my future. In addition, I have received the benefit of exchanging ideas and developing relationships with like-minded colleagues that will continue well beyond the PCEO course.
Your financial and time commitments to the PCEO program will be well spent and have the potential to improve all aspects of your future career. You will become a better leader. You will be able to delegate and focus your employees to see your vision and your brand. Negotiating will become much easier. You’ll sit down with your accountant and actually understand your financial statements, knowing exactly which numbers to look at and why. Better yet, you’ll then implement changes in your business to financially improve. These are just a few small examples of the knowledge you can hope to gain through the PCEO course.
I have personally decided to apply all of the valuable information from this program into an entrepreneurial endeavor that would never have been possible without the vision of Guy Kezirian, the PCEO program and the Kellogg School of Management, of which I am very grateful.
