– Plastic and Craniofacial Surgeon –
I am at a later stage in my career than most of my classmates. One of the absolute best moves I made in my career was getting a Physician Executive MBA 18 years ago. My ability to balance an academic position, private practice and head up an international mission program was made possible by the time efficiency and business knowledge I gained.
The PHYSICIAN CEO™ program is even more valuable because it is more practical and focused on physicians and physician practices. I have learned a ton, made lifelong friends and will remain immersed with a group of great and intellectually stimulating colleagues for the rest of my time. Guy and the Kellogg faculty have put together a program that is unlike any other in content, and surpasses even the best in academic quality.
Physicians need to retake the role of business leaders in medicine, for the sake of everyone. If only this program existed and had been a required part of our medical training for past decades, healthcare would be in a much better state. One of the hardest decisions a practitioner will make is carving out time to do this program – don’t even think twice, the return on investment will be “Buffet-like” in terms of practice enjoyment and business leadership.
